Eastpack accessories invite you to explore the world with designs where strength and safety prevail. Since 1952, each piece of the brand is manufactured following demanding quality and style standards that promise to accompany you on every journey.
Eastpak began its journey in 1952 as Eastern Canvas Products, manufacturing military equipment for the US army. In the 70s, its products were popularized among college students and the company began to create creations for their new audience. From the outset, the brand guarantees the resistance of its designs with a 30-year limited warranty.
Eastpak accessories owe their success to an indisputed quality that is reflected since the first phase of the manufacturing process to the final result. Their work philosophy is summarized in a motto: Built to Resist. Based on this principle, Eastpak has introduced great innovations in the market, such as the use of wheels in soft suitcases or the first designs with all-over prints in the 80s. The brand has managed to redefine the rules of the travel accessories by inspiring a positive resistance throughout its history.
The brand has shown its support for different people and groups who fight for a positive change. In 2006, they collaborated with different rock stars such as Ozzy Osbourne or Slash to produce three new backpack models whose proceeds went to different charities chosen by the musicians themselves. Later on, in 2010, Eastpak launched the Eastpak Art Study with the aim of supporting Designers Against AIDS. The campaign invited different artists and designers such as Vetements, Kenzo or Manolo Mlahnik to create their own reinterpretation of the brand’s classic backpack.
Inclusiveness and diversity is a constant in Eastpak’s ethical commitments. Its latest collection with Vivienne Westwood focuses on sustainability with a series of pieces created from plastic waste collected from the oceans, with details screen-printed from ecological procedures and a strong slogan: Save Our Oceans.
Eastpak’s accessories boast a specific identity and a deep-rooted personality that is evident in each of their designs, following very specific patterns that, at the same time, have given rise to endless reissues and reinterpretations, always faithful to their style. Hence, many artists and designers have contributed their personal vision to many of the brand’s creations, such as Jean Paul Gaultier, Raf Simons or MSGM.
Take a look at the wide variety of designs in the Eastpak store and check the variety of their catalog: each piece is unique.
